How do I configure the Settings so students can take a quiz multiple times and receive feedback on which questions were incorrect without letting them see the correct answers?

Instructors might want students to take a quiz multiple times and allow them to see which questions they answered incorrectly without letting them know the correct answer.

Go to the Site / Test & Quizzes

Go to the Site / Test & Quizzes

This displays the Test & Quizzes tool

To the right of left of the Working Copy quiz use the dropdown box and select Settings

To the right of left of the Working Copy quiz use the dropdown box and select Settings

This displays the Settings page for this quiz.

Click the Expand arrow to the left of Grading and Feedback

Click the Expand arrow to the left of Grading and Feedback

This displays the Grading and Feedback Settings.

Select Feedback on Submission, Release Questions and the Following, Student Response, Student’s Assessment Scores and Student’s Question and Part Scores

Select Feedback on Submission, Release Questions and the Following, Student Response, Student’s Assessment Scores and Student’s Question and Part Scores

Complete the rest of the Setting as desired and click Save

When you publish the quiz and a student submits their answers they will receive feedback that lets then know how they answered each question, which answers were correct and incorrect and will not indicate the correct answer.
