How do I add media to a Collection?
There are 3 methods of adding media to a Collection.
Method 1: Upload media directly to to the Collection
Method 2: Select media from the Site Library or from a user's My Media space
Method 3: Add media to a Collection from the Site Library or a user's My Media Space.
To add media to a Collection, click on Media Gallery in the left tool panel.
Method 1: (Upload media directly to to the Collection) - Click on the Collections tab, the name of the Collection, then Upload New Media to a Collection
This displays the uploading media dialogue box.
Select the media file on your computer, then click Save (or Select).
Once uploaded (which may take some time depending on the size of the file), click Next
Edit Name, Tags or Description, then click Next
Method 2: (Select media from other spaces) - Click on the Collections tab, the name of the Collection, then Add Items or Select Media..
This displays the Select Items page for the Collection. Here instructors or site Organizers can view the media located in either the Site Library or in the user's My Media space.
Select Site Library or My Media, then select media (by clicking on the thumbnail) then click "I'm Done".
Clicking "I'm Done" returns the display to the Collection with the selected media itms added to the Collection.
Method 3: (Add media from other space) - Go to either the Site Library or to your My Media space.
This displays the media content of the space.
At the bottom of a thumbnail, click Add.
This displays an Add dialogue box.
