How do I bulk download and grade “File Upload" question files?
Instructors must grade "File Upload" questions manually.
There are 2 methods for grading File Upload questions:
- Method 1: Download each submitted file individually and grade
- Method 2: Bulk download the submitted files and grade
Go to Test & Quizzes.
Under the Published Copies tab, for the selected assessment, click Select Actions / Scores.
This displays the assessment Total Scores page.
Method 1: (Download each submitted file individually and grade) - Click the name of the individual student.
This displays the assessment submission for that student.
Click on the file link to download the file, then enter score
Instructors can add comments to a student's feedback box. Students can see this feedback when, and if, you allowed Grader Comments feedback.
When finished click Update.
This updates the student's Total Score.
Example:
Method 2: (Bulk download the submitted files and grade) - Click Questions.
By default, the question #1 responses are listed.
Click the question that contains the File Upload.
This displays the responses to the File Upload question.
Click Download All.
This downloads a zip file that contains all of the File Upload responses.
Grade the question for each student, then click Update.
This updates the student's Total Score.
