How do I add an Announcement to my Piazza site?

Instructors can add Announcements to the Discussion board site. These announcements appear in both the Course page area and the Question and Answer area.

Go to Piazza.

Go to Piazza.

Click Course Page.

Click Course Page.

To the right of Announcements, click Add.

To the right of Announcements, click Add.

This displays the Piazza posting page.

Select the Post type, Post to and Folder location.

Note:

  • For an Announcement, you may want to post it as a "Note" that requires no response.
  • Announcements can be posted to the entire class, or to individual students.
  • All Piazza "posts" are stored in folders. Select an appropriate folder for the storage of Announcements. You may want to create or rename your Piazza site folders (See How do I manage Piazza folders?)

Title Announcement, add message, set posting options, then click Post My Note.
