How do I create a Syllabus that consists of an attachment to an uploaded file?

Instructors can use the Attachment feature of the Syllabus tool to post a Syllabus that consists of a link to an uploaded Syllabus document.

Go to Syllabus.

Go to Syllabus.

Select the Syllabus tool from the Tool Menu in your site.

Click Add Item

Click Add Item

This displays the Add Syllabus item dialogue box.

Enter a Syllabus title, then click Add

This displays the Edit Syllabus page

Method 1: - Upload file from computer - Click Add Attachments

This displays the Add Attachments page.

Click Browse

Click Browse

This displays your computer's file locator.

Locate the Syllabus file on your computer, select it and click Open.

Locate the Syllabus file on your computer, select it and click Open.

This returns the display to the Add Attachments page with the attach file listed.

Click Continue.

Click Continue.

This returns the display to the Syllabus page with the file attached.

Note: to add more attachments, click Add Attachments again

Under Select a resource, locate file and click Attach a Copy

This lists the file in the Add Attachment form

This returns the display to the Syllabus page with the file attached.

By default, the instructor's view of the Syllabus will show the title of the syllabus with the actual content (attachment) of the Syllabus hidden from view.

Click on the Arrow icon to open up and display the Syllabus.
