How do I allow group members to upload content to a group Resource folder?

Instructors can allow group members to upload files to a group folder. Group folders can only be seen by members of the selected group.

To allow group members to upload content to a group folder:

Go to Resources.

Go to Resources.

Select the Resources tool from the Tool Menu of your site.

To grant uploading permission to group members, to the right of the group folder, click Actions / Edit Folder Permissions.

This displays the folder permissions dialog box.

In the student column and the student non-registered column, select Create resources, Edit own resources and Delete own resources, then click Save.

This returns the display to the Resources page.

This allows the students that are members of the group to upload and edit content in the group folder.

This allows the students that are members of the group to upload and edit content in the group folder.

Since only members of the group can see the group folder, only they can upload files to it.  Students that are members of the group will have an "Add" and "Actions" button displayed in their view of the group folder.
