How do I merge the Announcements on one site into another site?
Instructors can merge Announcements posted on one site with another site. When an announcement is posted on the master site, it also appears on any merged sites. This merging feature of Announcements allows for a central course r project site to push out announcements to other sites.
For instance, a French program can create Announcements on a single French Announcements Project site and have them published on many individual French couse sites.
Go to Announcements on the site you want to merge Announcements TO.
Note: To set up the Merge, you must be enrolled in both sites with an Instructor-type role.
Click Merge.
Select the course to merge Announcements FROM, then click Save.
Now all Announcements made on the Master site (in this example - "French 21 Announcements") will appear on the Merged site (in this example - "Sp14-FR-0021-A-Comp/conv I")
