How do I bulk upload graded assignment and feedback?
To bulk upload graded assignments and feedback, instructors need to use the bulk download file format.
The best way to accomplish this is to first bulk download the assignments (See How do I bulk download download Assignments?) and use that file format to organize the upload file.
Place feedback and returned papers in the proper folder structure.
The bulk download results in a zip file that when unzipped consists of a series of folders (one for each student) that contains subfolders with the student submitted content.
Place returned papers or feedback files in the student's Feedback folder.
Tip: If you are returning Word documents with inline comments, you may want to save those files with a different filename than the one students used to submit the file (for instance: JohnDoePaper1_Comments.doc).
Create a zip archive file out of the folder containing the student subfolders.
Example: Creating the zip archive file on a Mac.
Click Browse, locate the zip archive file on your computer and click Open
Checkmark the Feedback boxes, then click Upload
Instructors can choose to release the feedback to students upon upload or wait to release the feedback later (See How do I release Assignment grades and feedback?)
