How do I embed a video from my computer on a Lessons page?
Instructors can add an embedded video at any point in a Lessons page. The embedded video described here is a video uploaded from the instructor's computer to the Lessons page and added to the Media Gallery tool. Go to the Lessons page.
Click on the Lessons Page Title (e.g. Unit #1) in the Tool Menu to display the page.
Click Add Content / Add text
This displays a Trunk text box.
Click on the Kaltura icon in the list of editing icons
This displays the Kaltura Media Gallery library for the site
Click Upload (or select an existing video from the site library)
Clicking "Upload will display the Media Gallery upload page
Note: If you have already uploaded the video to the sites Media Gallery tool, you can just select it from the list of media.
On the Vido Tab, click Browse
This displays your computer's file locator.
Select the video file from your computer and click Open (or Select).
This returns the display to the Kaltura video upload page.
Click Upload
This uploads the video to the Kaltura Media Gallery site library.
Note: Depending on the size of the file, it may take some time to fully upload.
Click Next
This displays a description page.
Add title, tags, description and click Next
Click Finish
This returns the display to the Kaltura Media Gallery site library list with the video now listed.
Selet the video
This places a placeholder icon of the video in the Trunk text box.
Click Save
This embeds the video and displays it in the Lesson

Note: If it is a long video, it may take some time for the video to fully process before a user is able to click on the play button and view the video.
